PRIVACY POLICY

Last updated: October 12, 2026

This policy explains what personal information Sinopop Inc., a California corporation doing business as SinoPOP ("SinoPOP", "we") collects when you visit www.sinopop.us, buy tickets, or come to our events, and how we use and share it.

1. What we collect

  • When you buy a ticket or create an account: your name, email address, phone number (if you give it), order details (event, ticket type, quantity, price, order number), and the names of guests on your order.

  • Payment information: card and wallet payments are processed by our payment providers (Stripe, PayPal, Klarna, Apple Pay, Google Pay). We do not see or store your full card number.

  • At the event: whether and when your ticket was scanned at the door.

  • When you contact us: the messages you send by email or WeChat.

  • When you browse the site: IP address, browser and device type, pages visited, and the link that brought you here (for example a promoter's link), collected through cookies and similar technologies.

2. How we use it

  • To sell and deliver your tickets, send order confirmations and event updates (time, venue, lineup changes, cancellations), and check you in at the door.

  • To give you access to your account and your tickets.

  • To credit promoters whose link you used to buy.

  • To answer your questions and handle payment disputes.

  • To prevent fraud and keep events safe.

  • To send you news about upcoming SinoPOP events, if you agreed to receive it. Every marketing email has an unsubscribe link.

  • To understand how the site is used and improve it.

3. Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with:

  • Service providers that run the site and process payments for us: our website and ticketing platform (website, ticketing, accounts and site statistics), Stripe, PayPal and Klarna (payments), Usercentrics (cookie consent), GoAffPro (promoter referral tracking). We do not currently use advertising pixels such as Meta Pixel, Google Ads or TikTok Pixel; if we add one, we will update this policy first.

  • Event partners: when an event is co-presented with another promoter or venue, we share the guest list (names and ticket details) needed to run entry.

  • Authorities, when the law requires it, or to protect the safety of guests, staff or the public.

4. Cookies

We use cookies that the site needs to work (cart, login) and, with your consent, cookies for analytics and referral tracking. You can accept or refuse non-essential cookies in the cookie banner and change your choice at any time. We do not currently respond to browser "Do Not Track" signals, because there is no common standard for them; use the cookie banner instead.

5. How long we keep it

Order records are kept for 7 years, as tax and accounting rules require. Marketing contacts are kept until you unsubscribe. Account data is kept until you ask us to delete your account.

6. Your choices and rights

You can ask us to show you, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, and you can unsubscribe from marketing at any time. Email us at the address below; we will reply within 30 days. We may keep order records we are legally required to keep. Residents of some US states and of Canada may have additional rights under local law, and we will honour them.

7. Where your data is stored

SinoPOP is based in the United States, and our service providers store data in the United States and other countries. If you buy from outside the US (for example for a Toronto show), your information will be transferred to and processed in the US.

8. Age

Guests must be 18 or older to enter our events, and 21 or older to buy alcohol; some events are 21+, as shown on the event page. The site is not meant for anyone under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.

9. Security

We use the security measures built into our providers' platforms, including encrypted payment processing. No online service is completely secure, so please keep your account password private.

10. Changes

If we change this policy, we will post the new version here with a new date. If the change is significant, we will also tell you on the homepage or by email.
